The Board of Directors (“the Board”) of KKB Engineering Berhad (“KKB”) is pleased to announce that KKB has accepted an award from Cityon Development Sdn Bhd (“CDSB”) for the Supply of MSCL (Mild Steel Concrete Lined) Pipe & Specials for the Proposed Project Bekalan Air Luar Bandar (BALB) Negeri Sarawak.

KKB has additionally received an Award from Syarikat SESCO Berhad (“SESCO”) for the Annual Supply & Delivery of Steel Products (Ref.: DPC8/16), Sarawak.

The completion date for CDSB is scheduled within the first quarter of 2017 (1Q2017) and for SESCO is scheduled within the third quarter of 2017 (3Q2017).The total estimated contract value for the combined CDSB and SESCO projects is approximately RM11.4 million (Ringgit Malaysia: Eleven Million and Four Hundred Thousand Only).

To the best of our knowledge, none of the Directors or major shareholders or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect in the abovementioned two (2) awards. The Board is of the opinion that the abovementioned awards are in the best interest of KKB and its Group.

The above awards are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the KKB Group for the financial years ending 31 December 2016 & 2017.
