The Board of Directors (“the Board”) of KKB Engineering Berhad (“KKB”) is pleased to announce that its associate company, OceanMight Sdn. Bhd. (“OMSB”) has received a Letter of Award from TALISMAN MALAYSIA LIMITED (“TALISMAN”) for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (“EPC”) of Wellhead Platform for Kinabalu Redevelopment Project (Contract No. 152085).

AND

KKB has additionally received a Notification of Tender Award from Syarikat SESCO Berhad (“SESCO”) for the Annual Supply & Delivery of Steel Products (ref: DPC46/15) and a Letter of Award from Sarawak Energy Berhad (“SARAWAK ENERGY”) for the Supply, Delivery, Erection, Commissioning of one (1) unit of 1000 Tonne Fuel Storage tank inclusive of Pipings & Fittings (Lawas Power Station) respectively.

For TALISMAN, conditional upon the approval of the Field Development Plan (“FDP”) by the relevant authority and completion of the Detailed Design Engineering Work (inclusive provisional sums), the total estimated amount for the combined TALISMAN, SESCO & SARAWAK ENERGY projects is approximately worth RM171.1 million (Ringgit Malaysia: One Hundred and Seventy-One Million and One Hundred Thousand only).

The completion date for TALISMAN is scheduled within the second quarter of 2017 (2Q2017) and for SESCO is scheduled within the third quarter of 2016 (3Q2016) and SARAWAK ENERGY is scheduled within the first quarter of 2016 (1Q2016).

The said Letter/Notifications of Tender Award are subject to a formal contract, final terms and conditions, to be entered into between both Parties.

To the best of our knowledge, none of the Directors or major shareholders or person connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect in the abovementioned three (3) awards. The Board is of the opinion that the abovementioned awards are in the best interest of KKB and its Group.

The above awards are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the KKB Group for the financial years ending 31 December 2015, 31 December 2016 and 31 December 2017.
