The Board of Directors (“the Board”) of KKB Engineering Berhad (“KKB”) wishes to announce that its associate company, OceanMight Sdn Bhd (“OMSB”) has on 2 March 2015 signed a Consortium Agreement (“Agreement”) with ICON Oilfield Solutions Sdn Bhd (“ICON”) to identify, secure and perform work on oil and gas field developments in Malaysia which leverage the combined capabilities and resources of both OMSB and ICON, including, in particular, any and all projects involving the engineering and construction of minimal facilities platforms and light weight structures.

ICON Oilfield Solutions Sdn Bhd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Australian company ICON Engineering Pty Ltd, an oilfield services contractor with intellectual capital and track record in design and delivery of engineered solutions and integrated services.

The Board is of the opinion that the above Agreement, once formalized, will be in the best long-term interest of KKB Group of Companies.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of KKB or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above Agreement. The Board is of the opinion that the abovementioned Agreement is in the best interest of KKB and its Group of Companies.
