The Board of Directors of KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKB") wishes to announce that Harum Bidang Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of KKB, has on 11 August 2011 accepted a Local Purchase Order from Kumpulan Bina Emas Sdn. Bhd. for Bekalan Air Luar Bandar (BALB) Project to Supply MSCL Water Pipes, Pipe Fittings and Specials. The duration of the supply contract shall be approximately nine (9) months commencing from the fourth quarter of 2011 with a contract sum of approximately Ringgit Malaysia Nineteen Million Four Hundred Thousand (RM19.4 Million). To the best of our knowledge, none of the Directors, major shareholders and persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect in the above award. The Board, having duly considered all aspects of the above award, is of the opinion that the above award is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies. This announcement is dated 11 August 2011. |
