The Board of Directors of KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKB") wishes to announce that KKB Builders Sdn. Bhd.("KKBBSB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of KKB, has tendered for and has been awarded a contract by OM Materials (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd. ("OM Sarawak") for the proposed Earthworks Package for OM Sarawak Plant at Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu, Sarawak for a Contract sum of RM70 million only. The Form of Agreement between OM Sarawak and KKBBSB was signed by KKBBSB on 7 July 2011. The Contract shall be for a completion period of Twelve (12) months and is subjected to the terms and conditions contained in the Agreement (OM 60SL-T1001-01). To the best of our knowledge, none of the Directors, major shareholders and persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect in the above award. The Board, having duly considered all aspects of the above award, is of the opinion that the above award is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies. This announcement is dated 7 July 2011. |
