| Contents | KKB Engineering Berhad (“KKB”) is pleased to announce that Edisi Optima Sdn Bhd, an Associate Company of KKB, has received a Letter of Acceptance dated 24 May 2010 from Awan Inspirasi Sdn Bhd for the Construction and Completion of the Proposed New Hangar at Miri Airport, Miri, Sarawak. The time of completion for the contract shall be within Eleven (11) months from the date of site possession with a contract sum of approximately Ringgit Malaysia Twenty Nine Million Five Hundred Thousand (RM29.5 million). A Contract will be entered into between Edisi Optima Sdn Bhd and Awan Inspirasi Sdn Bhd in due course. None of the Directors, major shareholders and persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect in the above award. The Board, having duly considered all aspects of the above award, is of the opinion that the above award is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies. This announcement is dated 27 May 2010. |
