| Contents | The Board of Directors of KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKB"or "the Company") wishes to announce that the Company has received a Notice To Proceed Letter dated 13 May 2010 from CH2M HILL Malaysia Sdn Bhd as its sub-contractor to carry out Structural Steel Works for the MEMC Merdeka Project, Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone, Kuching, Sarawak. The Sub-Contract sum is worth approximately RM20 million and the completion period scheduled within Second Half of 2010. This Notice To Proceed Letter shall be superceded by a formal Sub-Contract to be entered into between the Company and CH2M HILL Malaysia Sdn Bhd in due course. None of the Directors, major shareholders and persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect in the above contract. The Board, having duly considered all aspects of the above contract, is of the opinion that the above contract is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies. This announcement is dated 19 May 2010. |
