| Contents | Further to our announcement made on 5 August 2009 bearing reference no. CC-090805-59918, the Board of Directors of KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKB" or "the Company") wishes to announce that KKB Group will be supplying Mild Steel Cement-Lined Water Pipes worth approximately RM80 million (subject to partial orders to be confirmed) for The Construction and Completion of Proposed Samalaju Water Supply Project in Bintulu, Sarawak ("Project"). The Supply is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets of the Group. None of the Directors, major shareholders and persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect in the Project. The Board, having duly considered all aspects of the Project, is of the opinion that the Project is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies. This announcement is dated 10 August 2009. |
