| Contents | The Board of Directors of KKB Engineering Berhad (“KKB” or "the Company") wishes to announce that KKB has on 30 April 2009 received a “Procurement Arrangement for Goods” with Shell International Petroleum Company Limited (“Shell”) for the Supply of LPG Cylinders to Shell Gas LPG Local Operating Units with effect from 1 April 2009 to 31 March 2011 for a period of two (2) years provided that Shell may in its absolute discretion, by giving not less than thirty (30) days prior written notice to the Company, extend the period by a period of twelve (12) months from 1 April 2011 and subsequently extend by a further period of twelve (12) months from 1 April 2012 (subject to other Terms and Conditions to be agreed upon). The total estimated value for the period from 1 April 2009 to 31 March 2011 is approximately RM34 million. In this said Procurement Arrangement, Shell and/or the buyer companies, namely Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd, Brunei, Shell Gas Lanka Limited, Sri Lanka and Shell Gas Hai Phong Ltd, Shell Gas LPG Vietnam Ltd, Vietnam, will order directly from KKB their requirements of LPG Cylinders annually. None of the Directors, major shareholders and persons connected with them has any interest in the above award. The Board is of the opinion that the above award is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies. This announcement is dated 4 May 2009. |
