| Contents | The Board of Directors of KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKB") wishes to announce that KKB has on 24 September 2008 received an extension letter from Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd for the “Procurement Arrangement for Goods” PA CYL-13112006 for the Supply of LP Gas Cylinders to Shell Gas LPG Local Operating units for a period of 2+1+1 years upon expiry of the original contract. The supply of LPG Cylinders shall commence from 1 April 2009 to 31 March 2011, provided that Shell may in its absolute discretion, by giving not less than thirty (30) days prior written notice to KKB to extend a period of twelve (12) months from 1 April 2011 and should it have done so, may subsequently in its absolute discretion, by giving not less than thirty (30) days prior written notice, extend the period by a further period of twelve (12) months from 1 April 2012. The total estimated value for the period 2009 – 2011 based on Shell’s estimated requirements is RM30 million. None of the Directors, major shareholders and persons connected with them has any interest in the above award. The Board is of the opinion that the above award is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies. This announcement is dated 25 September 2008. |
