The Board of Directors of KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKB") wishes to announce that KKB had on 31 July 2007 signed a Letter of Acceptance (Contract No. CNTR/2200/07/326 dated 11 July 2007) awarded by PPES Works (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd for The Supply, Fabricate and Erection of Structural Steelwork (including roof covering, wall cladding and accessories) to Coal Shed for The Proposed Mukah Coal-Fired Power Station, Mukah Division, Sarawak at an estimated total contract sum of RM13,300,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Thirteen million and Three Hundred Thousand only).
The time of completion is eight (8) months.
None of the Directors, major shareholders and persons connected with them has any interest in the above award. The Board is of the opinion that the above award is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies.
