The Board of Directors of KKB Engineering Berhad (“KKB”) wishes to announce that KKB has on 9 March 2007 received a Letter of Acceptance dated 8 March 2007 from Lembaga Air Sibu [ref. SWB/CT/06/2007/B(2)] for the Construction, Completion and Commissioning of the Proposed Second Raw Water Intake for Salim Water Treatment for Salim Water Treatment Plant, Sibu at a total contract sum of approximately RM19.4 million (Ringgit Malaysia: Nineteen Million and Four Hundred Thousand only) and the completion period is approximately twenty (20) months.


None of the Directors, substantial shareholders and persons connected with them has any interest in the above award. The Board is of the opinion that the above award is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies.
