ANNOUNCEMENT ON EQUITY INVESTMENT IN SUBSIDIARY

The Board of Directors of KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKBEB") is pleased to announce that KKBEB has on 1 March 2006 acquired 49,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each, representing 49% of the issued and paid-up share capital of its subsidiary, KKB Halmac Services Sdn. Bhd. ("KKBHS") at a total cash consideration of RM52,643.21 ("the Acquisition"). Subsequent to the Acquisition, KKBHS became the 100% owned subsidiary of KKBEB.


The Board of Directors of KKBEB would like to inform that none of the Directors, major shareholders and/or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Acquisition. The Board is of the opinion that the Acquisition is in the best interest of KKBEB group and not to the detriment of the minority shareholders.
