The Board of Directors of KKB Engineering Berhad (“KKB”) is pleased to announce that KKB Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of KKB, has received a Letter of Intent dated 11 October 2005 from Loh & Loh Constructions Sdn. Bhd. for the Subcontract Works to Supply and Deliver Mild Steel Cement Lined Pipes and Pipe Specials for the Pelaksanaan Bekalan Air Sandakan Fasa II Project, Sabah.


The estimated contract sum is RM28 million and duration period is approximately 13 months. All other terms and conditons of the Subcontact Work will be spelled out in the Subcontact Agreement to be executed later.

The Board of Directors of KKB would like to inform that none of the Directors, substantial shareholders and person connected to them have any interest in the above award. The Board is of the opinion that the above award is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies.
