The Board of Directors of KKB Engineering Berhad (“KKB”) is pleased to notify Bursa Malaysia that its subsidiary, Harum Bidang Sdn. Bhd. has received a Letter of Award from CMS Infra Trading Sdn. Bhd. on 11 July 2005. This contract is for the Supply and Delivery of Concrete-Lined Mild Steel Pipes and Mechanical Couplings to Jabatan Kerja Raya (Sarawak) Central Unallocated Stores, Tanah Puteh, Kuching, Sarawak for a period of two (2) years effective from 1 July 2005 to 30 June 2007.


The contract sum for the award is worth approximately RM57 million.

A formal agreement between Harum Bidang Sdn. Bhd. and CMS Infra Trading Sdn. Bhd. will be executed soon.

The Board of Directors of KKB would like to inform that none of the Directors, Substantial Shareholders and persons connected to them have any interest in the above award. The Board is of the opinion that the above award is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies.
