LETTER OF EXTENSION OF CONTRACT

The Board of KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKB") is pleased to notify the Exchange that a Letter of Extension of Contract dated 16 September 2003 has been awarded to the Company by Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn. Bhd. for the Renewal of Contract No. SA00094 - for the Supply of Drums and Tab Seal to Shell, Kuching Lube Oil Blending Plant (KLOBP).


The contract sum for the award is worth approximately RM31 million (Ringgit Malaysia Thirty One Million) for contract period from 1 July 2003 to 30 June 2008.

The Board of Directors of KKB would like to inform that none of the Directors, Substantial Shareholders and persons connected to them have any interest in the above award. The Board is of the opinion that the above award is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies.
