Subject LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE

The Board of KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKB") is pleased to notify the Exchange that a Letter of Acceptance dated 8 July 2003 has been extended to the Company by Kuching Water Board for the Supply, Delivery, Laying, Testing & Commissioning of the Proposed 800mm Diameter Steel Pipeline from Jalan Meranek/Jalan Muara Tuang Junction to Samarahan Industrial Estate (Phase I), Kuching, Sarawak.


The contract sum for the award is approximately RM5.9 million (Ringgit Malaysia Five Million and Nine Hundred Thousand only) and completion period of the contract is approximately fifteen (15) months.

The Board of Directors of KKB would like to inform that none of the Directors, Substantial Shareholders and persons connected to them have any interest in the above award. The Board is of the opinion that the above award is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies.
