Subject ANNOUNCEMENT ON AWARD OF CONTRACT

The Board of Directors of KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKB") is pleased to notify the Exchange that KKB has received a Letter of Award dated 11 November 2002 from Metro Sedia Management Sdn. Bhd. for the Procurement, Construction, Testing & Commissioning for the Proposed Bitumen Storage and Delivery Facilities at Pending Port, Kuching, Sarawak.


The abovementioned contract sum amounts to RM3.5 million (Ringgit Malaysia Three Million Five Hundred Thousand only) and the period of completion of the said contract is twenty (20) weeks.

The Board of Directors of KKB would like to inform that none of the Directors, substantial shareholders and persons connected to them have any interest in the above award. The Board is of the opinion that the above award is in the best interest of KKB and its group of companies.
