Subject ANNOUNCEMENT ON INVESTMENT IN SUBSIDIARY

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the Company has on 22 December 1999 acquired 2 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each representing the entire issued and paid-up share capital of Harum Bidang Sdn. Bhd. for a total consideration of RM1,038,890.00 in cash and that Harum Bidang Sdn. Bhd. is now wholly-owned by the Company. Harum Bidang Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated on 24 October 1996 and has not commenced business yet.


Harum Bidang Sdn. Bhd. owns a piece of land with an area of 6,400 square metres, more or less at Sejingkat Industrial Park, Kuching, Sarawak and this will be used for manufacturing purposes.

None of the Directors, substantial shareholders of the Company or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above acquisition.
