Based on our Y2K Consultants' findings and report and excluding external systems beyond our control, the Y2K problem is not likely to affect the Group's operations.

Whilst the Group has sought assurances from third parties, it recognises that it has no control or direct access to all external systems from which year 2000 problems might arise.

KKB Engineering Bhd Group is in the process of finalising its Contingency and Business Recovery Plan which is expected to be put into place by October 1999.
