MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN KKB ENGINEERING BERHAD ("KKB") AND STATE NUCLEAR ELECTRIC POWER PLANNING DESIGN & RESEARCH LNSTITUTE CO. LTD ("SNPDRI')

Further to the announcement made on 25 April 2017 pertaining to the Memorandum of Understanding entered between KKB Engineering Berhad ("KKB") and State Nuclear Electric Power Planning Design & Research lnstitute Co. Ltd ("SNPDRI'), KKB wishes to further announce its roles and responsibilities as a Local Malaysian partner is to identify projects and opportunities and to participate in the energy-related field in Sarawak. SNPDRI is a State-owned enterprise, a wholly-owned subsidiary of State Power lnvestment Corporation (SPIC) (one of China's top five power generators and an integrated energy group with power as its core) and its role is to provide planning, consultancy, geo survey, engineering, EPC and operation support services in the field of thermal power, renewable energy and power grid.

The type of business ventures being jointly explored by both parties is Construction of Power Plants.

The major projects that SNPDRI have undertaken are:

  1. lndia SRM Kadeluoer 3 x660MW Coal-Fired Station Project
  2. Laos Sekong LAMAM 2 x350MW Coal-Fired Power Plant Project
  3. Thailand NPP5A 1 x 100MW Coal-Fired Power Plant
  4. lndia GMR Kamalanga 3 x350MW Coal-Fired Power Plant
  5. Thailand NPS PP9 1 x135MW Biomass Power Generation Project
  6. Upgrading of the Panitan-Nabas 138kV Transmission Line & Upgrading of the Ormoc/Tongonan-lsabel 138kV Transmission Line
  7. Philippine Navotas 230kV Substation EPC Project
  8. Pakistan 660kV Matiari-Lahore DC Transmission Line
  9. Ethiopian 500kV Transmission and Transformation Project
